Ingredients:
Debbie Reynolds Chicken A La Honolulu recipe makes 8 Servings
5 pound Broilerfryers chicken
3 cup Pineapple chunks; fresh,
Canned or frozen
2 tablespoon Ginger root, grated OR
1 teaspoon Ground ginger
1 cup Pineapple juice
1 cup Soy sauce
2 Cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoon Oil
Clean and cut the fryers. Combine all the above ingredients (with
exception of oil) for a marinade. Cover chicken and let stand at
least 4 hours. Turn often. Drain. Brown chicken in oil in a heavy
skillet. Place meat in a greased casserole. Bake in 325 oven for an
hour, or until tender.
