Recipe - Date Nut Roll

2 cup Sugar
One half cup Evaporated milk
1/3 cup White Kyro syrup
2 tablespoon Butter
One half pound Dates; chopped
4 cup Walnuts; pecans, almonds or
mac nuts, chopped
Combine sugar, milk, syrup and butter in pan and bring to a soft boil (234
degrees). Remove from heat and mix in dates. Beat until thick and then add
nuts. Roll into logs. Place in frig for a couple hours and then slice and
put each piece into a paper candy cup. Me ke aloha, Mary
