Recipe - Date Chutney

1 cup Chopped & pitted dates;
preferably the dry kind
1 tablespoon Chopped fresh ginger
One half teaspoon Cayenne
One half teaspoon Salt
4 tablespoon Water
2 tablespoon Chopped fresh coriander
leaves; (optional)
1 Lemon; (or One half c. tamarind
pulp, seeds removed) ,
juice of
Combine all ingredients except the lemon juice in the blender and blend
well. Transfer paste to a bowl, squeeze lemon over it, and mix with a fork.
