Recipe - Dal (Indian Spilt-Pea Soup)

1 pound Dry yellow split peas
2 Celery stalks; finely
chopped
1 lg Carrot; finely chopped
1 md Onion; finely chopped
2 tablespoon Sweet butter
1 tablespoon Curry powder
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 Bay leaf
One half teaspoon Salt
3 Chicken bouillon cubes
2 qt Water
place all ingredients in crockpot stir, cover, cook on low for 7 to 9
hours. garnish with chopped green pepper.
