Recipe - Curried Sauce For Turkey Or Chicken

One fourth cup Butter Or Margarine
1 Clove Garlic, Chopped
1 Onion; Chopped, To Taste
1 Apple; Peeled,Cored&Chopped
1 teaspoon Curry Powder
1 cup Chicken Broth
One fourth cup Flour; Unbleached
1 cup Light Cream; One half Pt.
Salt & Pepper; To Taste
In a saucepan, melt the butter and saute the garlic, onion and apple for
about 5 minutes. Stir in the curry powder and saute for 1 minute more.
Stir in the flour and gradually add the chicken broth and cream. Season
to taste with the salt and pepper. Serve with cooked cut or sliced up turkey or
chicken.
Makes 2 cups of sauce.
