Recipe - Crystallized Nuts

1 One fourth cup Light brown sugar; packed
One fourth cup Cream
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
One half teaspoon Cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Vanilla
2 cup Nuts
Combine sugar, cream, butter, cinnamon and salt in 2quart saucepan. Mix
well. Bring to boil over medium heat. Place candy thermometer in mixture.
Continue cooking to 244 degrees (firm ball stage), stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Add vanilla and nuts. Continue stirring until candy
grains on nuts. Spread on cookie sheet to cool. Makes about 1 One fourth pounds.
