Recipe - Crusty Pound Cake

2 cup Sugar
2 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Shortening
6 Eggs
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Gradually
add flour then vanilla. Bake in a tube or Bundt pan at 300* for 1 hour or
until done. I usually bake it about 1 One fourth 1 One half hours.
I also add a dash or lemon flavoring. I'm sure you could use any type of
flavoring you like.
