Categories: Breakfast, Fruit, Healthy And, Sauces, Crushed Red Berry Sauce
Ingredients:

1 One half cup Strawberries; cut or sliced up
3 tablespoon Sugar
1 cup Raspberries

In a medium size bowl, sprinkle the strawberries with the sugar. Cover and
let stand at room temperature for 1 hour allowing the berries to form their
own syrup.

Mash the berries with a potato masher or wooden spoon, then add the
raspberries and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to let
the flavors mellow. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Will keep
refrigerated for up to 5 days. Makes 1 1/3 cups (20 1 tablespoon servings)
