Recipe - Crunchy Apple Pie

2 cup Chopped cooking apples
One half teaspoon Vanilla extract
One half cup Firmly packed brown sugar
One half teaspoon Freshly squeezed lemon
Juice
One half cup Granulated sugar
One half cup Chopped pecans
One half cup Allpurpose flour
1 Egg white beaten until
Foamy
1 Egg yolk beaten
1 9"unbaked pie shell
Put chopped apples in a large bowl. Add sugar, flour, egg yolk, vanilla,
lemon juice and pecans; mix well. Add egg white. Stir well and pour mixture
into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 3045 minutes or until
apples are tender and brown. Yield: one 9inch pie. Formatted for MM7 by
