Recipe - Crumble Torte

One half cup Walnuts; chopped
1 pack Dates; chopped in small
pieces
3 Eggs; separated
6 tablespoon Coarse bread crumbs
1 teaspoon (heaping) baking powder
1 One fourth cup Sugar
Mix all ingredients together with egg yolks. Beat egg whites stiffly; fold
into mixture. Pour into buttered 9x9 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven
for 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream over ice cream. This is an old,
old recipe.
