Recipe - Crostini Allaglio Mozzarella

12 sl Italian bread; thick
3 Cloves garlic; finely
crushed
2 cup Diced wholemilk Mozzarella
(about 1 lb.=2 cups)
1 cup Good quality Italian olive
oil
One half cup Unsalted butter; room temp.
One half cup Chopped fresh basil leaves
2 teaspoon Tomato paste
Salt and pepper
1. Preheat oven to 425 F. Lay the bread slices on large baking sheets.
2. Place the garlic in a deep bowl and add the cheese, olive oil, butter,
basil, tomato paste, and the salt and pepper to taste.
3. Mix well together, then spread over each slice of bread. Place the
bread slices in the hot oven and bake until the cheese melts. Serve at
once.
