1 pound Boiling Potatoes, Peeled Or
Unpeeled cut in 3/4"

1 One half cup Cabbage coarsely

1 lg Carrot peeled and cut or sliced up
One fourth cup LongGrain Rice uncooked
1 pound Beef Round, Trimmed Of All
Fat cut in bitesize pcs
1 One half cup Beef Broth, Defatted, Or
Bouillon
Three fourths cup Red Wine
One fourth cup Ketchup
2 teaspoon Light Brown Sugar packed
One half tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 One half teaspoon Dried Thyme
1 teaspoon Chili Powder
One half teaspoon Powdered Mustard
One fourth teaspoon Black Pepper

In large crock pot, combine onion, garlic, potatoes, cabbage, carrot, and
rice. Add meat. In 4cup measure or similar bowl, stir together broth,
wine, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, thyme, chili powder, mustard, and
black pepper. Pour mixture over meat and vegetables. Cover crock pot and
cook 1 hour on high. Stir meat and vegetables into sauce, and cook an
additional 6 One half to 8 hours on low.
