Recipe - Crock Pot Barbeque Chicken
Categories: Crockpot, Poultry, Crock Pot Barbeque Chicken
1 Frying chicken; cut up or
quartered
1 cn Condensed tomato soup
Three fourths cup Chopped onion
One fourth cup Vinegar
3 tablespoon Brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
One half teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Sweet basil
One fourth teaspoon Thyme
Place chicken in slow cooking pot. Combine all other ingredients and pour
over chicken. Cover tightly and cook at "low" for 6 to 8 hours. makes 4
servings. Note: I cut the chicken in pieces and place in my small roaster.
I pour sauce over, cover, and place in 325 degree oven and it takes 1 1/2
to 2 hours. You can do 2 or 3 chickens in the roaster, in about the same
amount of time, but you need one recipe of sauce for each chicken. I layer
the chicken and pour sauce over each layer, You can also use just breast
and thighs and it turns out well. busted by sooz
