Recipe - Cristinas Onion Rings

2 cup Allpurpose flour
1 12 oz. bottl beer
Salt and pepper
4 Yellow onions cut or sliced up into
rings
Canola oil for frying
Directions: To make batter, combine the flour, salt, pepper and beer.
Whisk well to combine in a large bowl. Drop the cut or sliced up onions into
the batter and coat well. Strain with a slotted spoon. Carefully
place coated onion rings into hot oil. Frying is messy and to get the
correct temperature for the oil is difficult. Using an electric fryer
works great and is easy to clean, plus, the temperature of the oil is
easily maintained. Fry onions until golden and remove from oil. Drain
and season with salt.
