1 One half cup Cooked rice [short grain
makes it creamier]
2 cup Milk, divided
1/3 cup Sugar
One fourth teaspoon Salt
1 Egg, beaten
2/3 cup Golden raisins
1 tablespoon Butter
One half teaspoon Vanilla
Combine rice, 1 One half cup milk, sugar, and salt in heavy saucepan. Cook over
medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thick and creamy, 1520 min.
Blend remaining One half cup milk and egg. Stir into rice mixture. Add raisins.
Cook 2 min, stirring occasionally. Add butter and vanilla. Spoon into
serving dishes. Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
