Recipe - Creamy Onions

30 g Butter
One half teaspoon Pepper
1 Onion; finely chopped
Ground nutmeg to taste
1 One half tablespoon Flour
1 One half cup Milk
One fourth teaspoon Salt
500 g Frozen pearl onions or small
white pickling onions;
peeled
Paprika (optional)

Heat butter in a 4 cup glass jug, covered with a paper towel, on HIGH for
45 seconds, or until melted. Add chopped onion. Cook on HIGH for 23 mins.
until softened, stirring once. Stir in flour until blended. Cook on HIGH
for 34 mins. until sauce has thickened and is smooth, stirring twice.
Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Combine onions and sauce in a 23cm
round baking dish. Cook on HIGH for 35 mins. until sauce bubbles, stirring
halfway through cooking. Sprinkle, if you like with paprika.

33g Carbohydrate; 115mg Cholesterol; 1510mg Sodium
