1 pack Pillsbury Apple Cinnamon or
Cranberry Quick Bread Mix
One half cup Chopped, peeled apple
Three fourths cup Water
3 tablespoon Oil
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Almond extract
FILLING
2 pack (3oz.) cream cheese
2 tablespoon Sugar
1 Egg
One half cup Chopped, peeled apple
TOPPING
One fourth cup Sliced almonds
Apple jelly
Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour loaf pan. Blend all ingredients except
apple. Beat at medium speed until smooth. Stir in apple. Set aside. In
large bowl, combine all bread ingredients. Stir by hand until mix is
moistened. Pour One half batter into prepared pan. Carefully spoon cream
cheese mixture over batter. Spoon remaining batter on top of filling.
Sprinkle with almonds. Bake for 6585 minutes or until done. Cool
completely. Brush with melted apply jelly. Store in refrig.
