Recipe - Creamy Baked Peaches

4 cup Peach slices; thawed if
frozen
One half cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Plus 1 tsp. unsalted butter
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
1 tablespoon Cold water
One half cup Evaporated skim milk
One half teaspoon Vanilla extract
Prep: 10 min, Cook: 25 min.
Preheat oven to 450øF. Arrange peaches in a glass baking dish. Sprinkle
with sugar. Dot peaches with butter. Bake 1525 minutes, basting peaches
and turning twice until peaches are tender. Combine cornstarch and water in
a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake vigorously. Add milk and vanilla.
Shake to combine and set aside. When peaches are done, remove from baking
dish with a slotted spoon. Stir milk mixture into baking dish. Return
peaches to baking dish and bake another 810 minutes or until sauce is
thickened. Serve peaches with sauce
