Recipe - Cream Of Wild Rice Soup

2 tablespoon Butter or margarine
1 cup Chopped onion
1 One half tablespoon Flour
2 cup Water
2 cup Chicken broth
2 cup Milk
1 pack (6.25oz) Uncle Ben's fast
cooking long grain & wild
rice
One fourth teaspoon Thyme leaves; crushed
Melt butter in 3quart saucepan. Add onion and cook until tender, but not
brown. Stir in flour. Gradually stir in water, broth and milk. Add contents
of rice and seasoning packets and thyme; stir. Bring to a boil. Reduce
heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
