Recipe - Cream Of Vidalia Onion Soup

6 tablespoon Margarine
4 tablespoon Flour
4 cup Milk
2 cup Chicken stock
1 cup Chopped onions
One half teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
One fourth cup Finely cut green onions
4 tablespoon Cream
Melt 2 tablespoon of margarine in top of double boiler. Add flour and mix well. Add
milk and chicken stock. Beat with wire whip to blend together and keep
smooth. Saute onions in 4 tablespoon of margarine, 3 minutes. Add to soup mixture
and cook 15 minutes. Add salt, pepper, green onions and cream. Stir to
blend and serve.
