Recipe - Country Meat Loaf

LOAF
One half cup Onion cooked in
1 tablespoon Butter until transparent
2 Eggs, beaten
1 cup Milk
Three fourths cup Oats
1 tablespoon Chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Savory
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
2 One half pound Lean ground beef
GLAZE
One half cup Ketchup
2 tablespoon Brown sugar
One half teaspoon Gravy Master
One fourth teaspoon Dry mustard
Soften onions in butter until clear. Combine with remaining meatloaaf
ingredients. Form into loaf and rerigerate 2 hours. Unmold into larger
baking pan and bake at 350F. a half hour. Remove from oven and drain. Brush
with glaze; return to oven, bake another hour or until no pink remains,
brushing now and then with glaze.
