Recipe - Corn Meal Scrapple

2 lg Onions, chopped
One half teaspoon Shortening
1 cup Corn meal
1 small Can mushrooms
One half tablespoon Butter
2 pound Ground round steak
1 lg Can tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown onions in fat, add meat. Add corn meal, tomatoes, mushrooms, salt
and pepper. Cook for 2 hrs. in skillet over slow fire.
