Recipe - Cookie Cheesecake Squares

1 Roll butterscotch or
Peanut butter cookies from
The dairy case
Three fourths cup Strawberry or any
Flavor preserves
8 ounce Cream cheese
1 cup Dairy sour cream
One fourth cup Sugar
1 lg Egg
One half teaspoon Vanilla

Slice cookie roll One fourth inch thick; place slices in bottom of ungreased 13
x 9 pan. bake ag 375 for 1215 minutes or until light golden brown. Cookie
dough will appear puffy when removed from oven, gently spread with
preserves. Mix remaining ingredients and beat at medium speed until smooth.
Pour over preserves layer spreading filling to edges. bake at 375 for 2530
minutes or until knife inserted in center Comes out clean. cool; cut into
dessert squares or bars.
