Recipe - Coney Island Hot Dog Sauce 2

1 pack Onion soup mix
1 cup Water, hot
One half pound Ground beef
2 tablespoon Shortening
1 teaspoon Chili powder
Three fourths cup Catsup

Soak onion soup mix in hot water for about 15 minutes. Strain out onion
pieces and ground beef in shortening in large skillet. Add seasonings,
catsup and liquid drained from onions. Simmer together about 30 minutes.
