Ingredients:
Cold Water Xmas Cake recipe makes 4 Servings
2 cup White sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Cloves
1 teaspoon Nutmeg
2 tablespoon Shortening
1 pound Seeded raisins
2 cup Cold water
ADD
3 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Soda
Pinch salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Cherries and nuts
Mixed dried peel (optional)
Boil and stir for 5 minutes the sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg,
shortening, raisins and water. Let cool and then add the remaining
ingredients. Next pour into large well greased and floured tube pan. Bake
at 375* for 1 One half hours.
