milk
CURRIED YOGURT SAUCE
2 teaspoon Minced fresh ginger root; or
to taste
1 Clove garlic; minced
One fourth cup Dried currants or raisins
1 cup Plain lowfat yogurt
2 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon or
lime juice
2 teaspoon Ground coriander seeds
1 One half teaspoon Ground cumin
2 teaspoon Ground turmeric
Salt
Ground cayenne pepper
Note: I used more of all the
spices
PEANUT COATING
Three fourths cup Chutney of choice
Three fourths cup Mayonnaise or plain lowfat
yogurt; or a combination
2 One half cup Finely chopped dry roasted
peanuts
Sliced mango; papaya, or
other tropical fruit for
garnish
