Recipe - Coffee Liqueur

1 tablespoon Plain gelatin powder
One fourth cup Cold water
6 tablespoon Sugar
1 ds Salt
1 Three fourths cup Hot strong coffee

Anything coffeeflavored is traditionally popular in New England, and one
used to be able to buy a commercial product to make coffee jello frombut
I haven't seen it when visiting there within the last twenty years or so.
Here's the fromscratch version. Tasty with a bit of heavy cream or
whipped cream, naturally.

Soak gelatin in cold water for five minutes. Add remaining ingredients and
stir. Chill until firm. Serves 4.
