Recipe - Cinnamon Swirl Quick Bread

1 One half cup Sugar; divided
1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
2 cup Allpurpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
One half teaspoon Salt
1 cup Buttermilk
1 lg Egg
One fourth cup Vegetable oil
GLAZE FROSTING
One fourth cup Confectioner's sugar
1 One half teaspoon Milk (more if necessary)
Combine One half cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside. combine flour, baking
soda, salt and remaining sugar. Combine buttermilk, egg,oil; stir into
dry ingredients just until combined. Grease the bottom only of a
9in.x5in.x3in. loaf pan. Pour half the batter into the pan; Sprinkle
with half the cinnamon sugar. Carefully spread with the remaining batter
and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar; swirl knife through batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 4550 minutes or until a pick inserted near the
center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to a wire
rack to cool completely. Combine glaze ingredients; drizzle over bread.
