Recipe - Cinnamon Apple Dumplings

6 cup Chopped apples
1 One fourth cup Sugar
1 One fourth cup Water
One half teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Flour
2 tablespoon Sugar
2 teaspoon Baking powder
One fourth teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Cinnamon
Nutmeg; (optional)
1 Egg
1/3 cup Milk
Boil apples, 1 One fourth cups sugar, water and One half teaspoon cinnamon. Mix and add
by spoonfuls the batter consisting of flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, baking
powder, salt, One half teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, egg and milk. Cover and steam
for 20 minutes. Do not peek. Delicious with milk or ice cream on top.
