Recipe - Cinnamon-Applesauce Muffins

One fourth cup Granulated sugar
One half teaspoon Ground cinnamon
2 cup Bisquick® baking mix
Three fourths cup Unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup Packed brown sugar
1/3 cup Chopped nuts; if desired
3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
One half teaspoon Ground cinnamon
One fourth teaspoon Ground nutmeg
One fourth teaspoon Ground allspice
1 Egg
3 tablespoon Butter or margarine; melted
Heat oven to 450F degrees.
Line 12 medium muffin cups, 2 One half X 1 1/4", with paper baking cups. Mix
granulated sugar and One half teaspoon cinnamon; reserve.
Mix remaining ingredients except butter with fork until moistened. Divide
batter among muffin cups.
Bake until golden brown, 1520 minutes. Immediately remove from muffin
cups. While warm, dip tops into melted butter, then into sugarcinnamon
mixture.
