Recipe - Chutney Cracker Spread

Ingredients:

8 ounce Fatfree cream cheese;
softened
2 tablespoon Nonfat sour cream
1 teaspoon Curry powder
One half cup Green onions; cut or sliced up
One half cup Unsalted peanuts;
dryroasted, chopped
9 ounce Chutney
Assorted reducedfat
crackers

Seeing I haven't posted in quite a while, I thought that I would post
lowfat from the Taste of Home Lowfat Country Cooking. Out of 455 recipes I
only have 44 formatted. Plan on formatting the rest this week. Hope you all
enjoy these.

In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and curry powder
until smooth. Fold in the onions and peanuts. Spread about One half inch thick
on a serving plate. Chill. Just before serving, pour chutney over all.
Serve with crackers.

Yield: 1 One half cups

Serving Size: 2 Tablespoons

NOTES : Storebought chutney makes this savory spread a delicious
alternative to the usual cheese spread. Plus, it can be whipped up in no
time.
