Recipe - Christmas Fruit Squares

2 cup Chopped pecans
One half cup Butter or margarine
1 One half cup Brown sugar
2 Unbeaten eggs
1 cup Flour
1 cup Chopped candied cherries;
One half red; One half green
1 cup Chopped candied pineapple; 1
slice red; 1 slice green, 1
slice white
Spread nuts on greased cookie sheet. Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs &
flour. Spread batter over nuts. (You will have to use a knife to spread
batter.) Sprinkle candied fruits over batter. Bake at 300 for 45 minutes.
Cut into squares while warm.
