Recipe - Chocolate Raisin Bread

1 pack (12oz) Nestle Toll House
semisweet chocolate
morsels; divided
6 tablespoon Butter
2 cup Allpurpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 Egg
1 One half cup Milk
One half cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 cup Coarsely chopped nuts
One half cup Raisins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine over hot (not boiling) water, 1 cup
Nestle Toll House semisweet chocolate morsels and butter. Stir until
morsels are melted and mixture is smooth. Set aside. In small bowl, combine
flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl,
combine egg, milk, sugar and vanilla extract; mix well. Add melted morsels;
mix until well blended. Gradually stir in flour mixture until dry
ingredients are just moistened. Stir in remaining 1 cup Nestle Toll House
semisweet chocolate morsels, nuts and raisins. Pour into greased
9x5x3inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6570 minutes. Cool 10
minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack. Makes one loaf.
