Recipe - Chocolate Meringue Cookies

One half cup Margarine
One half cup Sugar
One half cup Brown sugar
2 Eggs separated
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Baking soda
One half teaspoon Salr
3 tablespoon Milk or water
6 ounce Chocolate chips
1 cup Brown sugar
One half teaspoon Vanilla
One half cup Nuts , optional

Beat margarine, sugars, egg yolks, and 1 tsp. vanilla. Mix dry ings. , and
add with milk. Spread in 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle with chocol ate chips. Beat
egg whiles to soft peaks, beat in brown sugar and vanilla. Fold in nuts.
Spread carefully over chips. Bake 3035 mi n. at 325F.
