Recipe - Chocolate Decadence Bread Pudding

3 cup Whole milk divided
4 Squares (1oz each)
semisweet baking chocolate
Three fourths cup Sugar
One fourth cup Butter or margarine
8 ounce Old fashioned or other firm
white bread, cuber (5 c.
cubed) (this is a great way
to use up some of the
homemade bread that you may
have left over)
2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Three fourths teaspoon Ground cinnamon
3 Eggs, lightly beaten
For custard, combine 2 cups milk, sugar and butter in large microwavesafe
bowl. Microwave on high (100%) for 9 minutes, stirring every three minutes,
or until chocolate is melted. Stir in bread cubes, vanilla, cinnamon, and
remaining milk into hot mixture. Stir in eggs. Let stand five minutes. Stir
and pour into buttered 1One half quart baking dish or souffle dish. Bake at
350* for 4555 minutes or until table knife inserted into center comes out
clean. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream and chocolate curls, if
desired. Makes 6 servings
