Recipe - Chocolate Chip Cookies 1

One half cup Shortening
One half cup Sugar
One fourth cup Brown sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Flour
Three fourths teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Soda
1 pack (6oz) chocolate chips
One half cup Nuts

Cream first 5 ingredients. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add chips and
nuts, stirring well. Bake at 350 for 1012 minutes on greased cookie sheet.

3One half dozen.
