Recipe - Chocolate Chip Cookies

Three fourths cup Marg; softened
Three fourths cup Shortening
1 One half cup Brown sugar, lt; packed
Three fourths cup Sugar
3 Eggs
3 tablespoon Corn syrup, lt
3 tablespoon Water
3 teaspoon Vanilla
3 Three fourths cup Flour; unsifted
1 One half teaspoon Baking soda
Three fourths teaspoon Salt
3 cup Chocolate chips; semisweet

Cream margarine, shortening, sugars, eggs, corn syrup, water and vanilla;
beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, salt; add to creamed mixture. Beat
well. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfulls. Bake at 350' for 15
minutes. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute then remove to cooling
racks until completely cooled.
