Recipe - Chocolate Bubble Biscuits

2 cup Allpurpose flour
Three fourths cup Sugar; divided
4 teaspoon Baking powder
One half teaspoon Salt
2/3 cup Butter; divided
1 pack (6oz) Nestle Toll House
semisweet chocolate
morsels
2/3 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
In large bowl, combine flour, One fourth cup sugar, baking powder and salt. Using
pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in One half cup butter until mixture resembles
coarse crumbs. Stir in Nestle Toll House semisweet chocolate morsels. Add
milk; stir until dough holds a shape. On floured board, knead dough
lightly. Roll dough into 16 balls. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small
saucepan, melt remaining One half cup butter. Pour One half of melted butter in
8inch square baking pan. In cup, combine remaining One half cup sugar and
cinnamon. Sprinkle One half cinnamon/sugar mixture over butter in baking pan.
Place dough balls in single layer in pan. Brush with remaining melted
butter. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon/sugar mixture. Bake at 375 degrees
for 30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Serve warm. Makes 16
biscuits.
