Recipe - Chocolate Banana Cream

1 tablespoon Gelatine
2 cup Milk
One fourth cup Cocoa
1 teaspoon Vanilla
One fourth cup Sugar
2 Egg whites
One fourth teaspoon Salt
One fourth cup Sugar
2 Egg yolks
One half cup Mashed bananas
Combine gelatine, cocoa, first One fourth cup sugar and salt in the top of a
double boiler. Beat together egg yolks and milk and add to cocoa mixture.
Cook over hot water stirring constantly, until gelatine is dissolved and
mixture begins to thicken a little. Remove from heat, add vanilla, and
chill the mixture until it is just beginning to set. Beat egg whites until
stiff, then beat in second One fourth cup of sugar. Fold in cocoa mixture and
mashed bananas. Turn into serving dish and chill until firm.
