Recipe - Chocolate Almond Glaze

2/3 pack (6oz) Nestle Toll House
semisweet chocolate
morsels
1/3 cup Heavy cream
One fourth cup Butter
1 cup Sifted confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon Almond extract
Chopped toasted almonds
(optional)
In small saucepan, combine Nestle Toll House semisweet chocolate morsels,
heavy cream and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until
morsels are melted and mixture is smooth. Transfer to small bowl; cool 15
minutes. Gradually add confectioners' sugar and almond extract; beat well.
Perfect for angel food or sponge cake. Pour over cake while glaze is still
warm. Garnish with chopped toasted almonds, if desired. Chill to set glaze.
Makes 1One fourth cups glaze.
