Recipe - Chocolate-Dipped Almonds

2 cup Flour
One half teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Baking Powder
1 One half tablespoon Maxwell House Instant Coffee
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Butter or margarine
Three fourths cup Sugar
1 Egg
4 Sqrs. Baker's semisweet
chocolate, melted
Three fourths cup Finely chopped walnuts or
pecans
ChocolateDip Cookies

Mix flour with salt and baking powder. Dissolve coffee in the vanilla.
Cream butter. Gradually beat in sugar and continue beating until light and
fluffy. Add egg and coffee mixture and beat well. Gradually add flour
mixture, beating well after each addition. Drop from teaspoon onto
ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 o for 1012 mins. Cool thoroughly. Dip
half of each cookie into melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts.
Makes 3 One half dozen.
