Recipe - Chived Mashed Potatoes

1 One half cup Hot water
One half teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
3 tablespoon Butter or margarine
One half cup Milk or light cream
1 One half cup Instant mashed potato flakes
1/3 cup Sour cream
One fourth cup Finely chopped parsley
3 tablespoon Freezedried chives
1 Egg, slightly beaten
1. Combine water, salt, pepper and butter in a deep, 1 1/2quart
heatresistant, nonmetallic casserole. 2. Heat uncovered, in Microwave
Oven 4 minutes or until mixture boils. 3. Add milk. 4. Stir in potato
flakes with a fork. 5. Stir in remaining ingredients until well blended. 6.
Heat uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 minutes or until heated through.
