Recipe - Chipotle Pesto Cream Sauce

1 Batch basil pesto (I make my
own, but you can buy it)
1 pt Heavy cream
2 tablespoon Chipotles in Adobo (I buy
this locally here in
Austin) (up to 3)
Chopped mushrooms (optional)
Sun dried tomatoes
(optional)
Fresh garlic to taste
Fresh ground pepper to taste
Heat the pesto in a sauce pan over low heat. Slowly add the cream, stirring
often. Add the chipotles whenever. Cook and stir until sauce thickens.
This is my own recipe. This is great over pasta and chicken! Hope it helps.
Hopefully I will be able to spend some time figuring out mastercook soon,
so I can really delurk!
