Recipe - Chinese Spare Ribs

4 Cloves garlic
2 teaspoon Salt
One fourth (up to)
One half cup Honey
One fourth cup Catsup
One half cup Water
1 cn Consomme
4 (up to)
5 pound Spare ribs
Mix all ingredients, except spare ribs, together to make marinade. Soak
ribs in the marinade overnight. Remove ribs from marinade and place them in
a shallow pan. Place ribs in a preheated 425 degree oven for about 15
minutes or until brown. Pour off grease. Lower heat to 325 degrees. Pour
marinade over ribs and cook for about 1One half hours or until tender. Baste
with marinade every now and then.
