Recipe - Chile Verde Ala Fay

1 lg Round steak
One half Onion; minced
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Flour
1 md Tomato; minced
4 Long green chiles; roasted,
peeled and minced
1 ds Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Canola oil
2 cup Water; up to 3
Cut steak into bitesize squares. Place steak in a large skillet and brown
it over medium heat in canola oil. Mix in the rest of the ingredients, and
cook for 15 minutes on low heat, occasionally stirring. Add 23 cups of
water depending on desired thickness. Simmer 25 minutes. Serve as a main
dish with beans and rice or rolled in a tortilla. Note: Heat Scale: Mild
