Recipe - Chicken In Casserole

1 Chicken (broiler); 2
1/23 lb
1 teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
2 cup Savory stuffing; separate

One fourth cup Margarine
One half cup Boullion
4 md Potatoes; pared, quartered
One half pound Peas; fresh or frozen
6 Carrots; cut or sliced up
Heat oven to 375. Wash and dry chicken. Sprinkly cavity with One half teaspoon
salt, and pepper. Stuff with savory stuffing. Tie legs together. Brown on
all sides in margarine in deep baking pan. Add boullion and potatoes. Bake,
covered 30 minutes. Add peas and carrots and remaining One half teaspoon salt.
Cover. Bake 30 minutes longer.
