Recipe - Chick-O-Tato Casserole-Perdue

1 Whole Chicken; cut in
servingpcs.
1/3 cup Oil
1/3 cup Onion; chopped
One half cup Celery; chopped
One half cup Green Pepper; chopped
One half cup Catsup
2 tablespoon Vinegar
One half cup Water
2 tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon Prepared Mustard
1 tablespoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
4 md Potatoes; cut or sliced up thickly
To make sauce, heat oil in fry pan, add onion, celery and green pepper and
cook about 10 minutes. Add catsup, water, vinegar, sugar, Worchestershire
sauce, mustard, salt and pepper, and simmer at low heat for approximately
15 minutes. Place chicken in bottom of baking dish and tuck potatoes around
chicken pieces. Pour sauce over all.
Bake, covered, at 375 F for approximately 50 minutes.
