Recipe - Cherry Ice Cream

ICE CREAM COOKBOOK
Fresh cherries (3 boxes)
1 cup Sugar
Recipe for vanilla ice
Cream

Pit and quarter the cherries and cover with the sugar. Let stand. Add to
your favorite vanilla ice cream recipe when it is half frozen. Add a small
amount of red food coloring if desired. Or you can fold the cherries into
the frozen completed ice cream. If you would prefer to use canned cherries,
use 3 cans and do not sugar them.
