One half cup Almond slivers
1 Three fourths LB
1 Three fourths cup Canned cherries, tart
1 teaspoon Almond extract
2 One half tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon Salt
One half cup Sugar
3 One half cup Bread flour
2 One half tablespoon Vital gluten
2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
2/3 cup Almond slivers

the beep or appropriate time for your machine. (There is a misprint in the
book. They say add cherries at beep, but if you wait that long you will
have no moisture to mix the dough.) CYCLE: sweet, white; no timer SETTING:

NOTES : Pack cherries tightly in a measuring cup. You may try to double
the yeast for a taller loaf. This is a low rising, dense loaf.
