2 One half pound Chicken pieces [boneless
Preferred]
One half teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
1 cn (21oz) fruit pie filling
One half cup White wine [dry]
One half cup Lime juice
One fourth cup Light brown sugar [packed]
One fourth teaspoon Allspice
One fourth teaspoon Nutmeg
One fourth teaspoon Cloves [ground]
1) Rinse chicken and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper, then brown
in a skillet in the oil for 10 min. on each side, drain... 2) Combine pie
filling, wine, lime juice, brown sugar, and spices in a bowl and mix
well... 3) Arrange chicken in a microwave safe casserole, and spoon the
fruit sauce over it... Cover and nuke on low setting for 20 min or `til the
chicken is no longer pink and is fork tender... 4) Serve over hot cooked
noodles or rice... cf
